Friary Grounds planting project

We're delighted to share a vision of the Friary Grounds.

Following consultations with Mayo County Council, Abbey Trust, Abbey Partnership, and the Ballyhaunis Community Council, we have developed a plan to enrich with grounds with forestry, orchards, shrubs, wildflower meadow and wet land.

This project is part of a multi-year plan to develop the grounds under our Biodiversity Action Plan, which was funded by the Community Foundation Ireland. We have received additional funding from the Community Foundation to put this plan into action.
