Ballyhaunis Tidy Towns received a grant from the Community Foundation to develop a Local Circular Economy Plan with support and expertise provided by environment group VOICE.

What is zero waste?
On the most basic level, the goal of zero waste is to send no waste to landfill, incinerators and the ocean.
What is a circular economy?
In a circular economy, products and materials are kept in circulation like maintenance, reuse, refurbishment, remanufacture, recycling, and composting.
